How will you pop the question?

Okay, so you’re in love. You’ve found an awesome person who both complements you and challenges you to be a better person. That person who can turn a bad day into a good one, and a good day into a better one. But it’s more than that. You’ve decided this is the person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life. Congratulations! How are you going to pop the question?

Proposing at sunset on a beach is romantic, sure. Hiding the ring in food is…. well, something you’ve seen in movies so it would probably work out just fine. A flash mob proposal would be great, but it would probably take you longer to plan one of those than it would take you to plan an actual wedding.

pop-the-question All of the above methods of proposing are all fine and dandy, but why not something different? Try thinking outside the box and inside the frame. By working with Soundwave Art™, you can turn your marriage proposal into voice art. It’s incredibly simple.

Decide whether you want an enhanced matte print or a canvas for your artwork. The enhanced matte print yields highly saturated images and has a performance rating of 76 years under glass. The gallery wrapped canvas is a museum-grade matte poly cotton blend and is a leader in color gamut and print permanence. Once you’ve decided between the enhanced matte print and the canvas, you choose the desired size of your artwork. Then comes the fun part: recording.

Use the microphone on your computer or laptop to record your voice. You will have 10 seconds in which to propose. You can simply say the words, “Will you marry me?” or maybe you might want to personalize it a bit more by using your partner’s name, such as, “Rebecca, will you marry me?” Review the unique pattern the sound of your voice made and, once you are satisfied, it’s time to pick colors.

The colors you choose are completely up to you. You may want to choose your partner’s two favorite colors, or perhaps your favorite color along with your partner’s.

Once you receive your voice art, it’s up to you how you want to present it. Will you surprise your loved one by wrapping it up as a gift and having them open it? Would you rather have rose petals leading from the front door to the artwork hanging on the wall? No matter what, they will most likely stare at it with a confused look on their face. What could this possibly mean? But when you tell them, that artwork will quickly become their all-time favorite.

There are plenty of ways you can take your piece of art and turn it into a unique proposal. Be creative. Be romantic. Be spontaneous. But don’t worry about the voice art. You can leave that to us.
